Furata: National Hydro-Environmental Digital Twin

Furata is TDS’s own software platform, built in house as a digital twin of the Kingdom’s water and climate system. Live feeds from more than 1,000 rainfall, climate, groundwater, dam and wadi-flow stations are integrated with hydrological and groundwater models into one map-based environment, where AI anomaly detection screens every incoming reading, dashboards show the state of each aquifer, dam and catchment as it changes, and automated reports, statistics and a library of hydrological studies support planning and emergency decisions. TDS designs, hosts, maintains and trains users on the platform.

Outcome: over 450 million records managed in one national twin; real-time situational awareness for more than 100 water professionals; anomalies flagged automatically before they enter the record; a single source of truth for climate, groundwater and surface-water reporting.
